just for you
a small apology letter
a little apology letter

For My LoveAmritaaa

You are my favorite chapter in life.
And I just wanted to say... I'm sorry.
it means a lot to me
where I want to start

I'm sorry.

Not because I want everything to go back to normal immediately.

Not because I'm afraid of losing you.

But because I know I hurt you, and I wish I had handled things differently.

There's more I need to say, and I hope you'll give me a few minutes of your time.

I'm sorry, truly
things I understand now

I've thought about
what happened.

I've replayed the moments in my head more times than I can count. And there are a few things I wish I'd understood sooner.

I should have listened instead of trying to prove my point.
I should have understood that you were hurt too.
I shouldn't have let one misunderstanding become bigger than everything we've shared.
I shouldn't have made you feel like our relationship could be thrown away when things got difficult.
I could have been more patient, kinder, and more understanding.
I'm sorry for the pain my words and actions caused you.
I really don't want my ego at the cost of us. I want to be better for us.
what I wish I could rewind

How it unfolded.

Not to change the past — but to understand what I could have done differently.

01

That misunderstanding

I wish I had handled that moment differently. One small misunderstanding became something much bigger. You understood my words differently than I meant them, and instead of making sure you knew what I actually meant, things just kept getting worse.

02

My "Ji, thik hai."

That reply still stays with me. I should have explained instead of accepting it. Maybe I was hurt. Maybe my ego wouldn't let me say what I actually wanted to say.

03

The silence

And then I made it worse. I didn't contact you for three or four days. Maybe I thought giving you space was the right thing to do. But I understand now that my silence only made you feel more hurt and more angry.

04

What I understand now

Some things are more important than being right. It was how I handled everything after it. I let hurt, ego, and silence come between us when what we really needed was one honest conversation.

05

What I wish I had done

I wish I had chosen us. I would have put my ego aside. I wish I had reached out sooner, and made you feel that even when things get difficult, I'm not someone who's going to just let us go.

Not because I'm afraid of losing you. (Actually, I am.)

But because I don't want my ego to be the reason I lose us. I wish I had understood that sooner.
something I want you to know

You mattered, even
when we were fighting.

Even when I was angry.
Even when I was hurt.
Even when my words said otherwise.
I never stopped caring.

I just wish I had shown it better.
Because sometimes loving someone isn't enough — you have to make sure they can feel it too.for you, always
the part that matters most

The actual apology.

No timeline. No excuses. No trying to make what happened sound smaller than it was. Just what I genuinely want you to know.

I don't know what happens after you read this.

Maybe you're still angry. Maybe you're still hurt. Maybe you don't know what you want either. And I understand.

I'm not asking you to forget what happened. I'm not asking you to forgive me immediately.

I'm only asking you to know that I'm genuinely sorry.

I love you, and I'm sorry that somewhere between being hurt and trying to protect myself, I ended up hurting the person I never wanted to hurt.

With all my heart, Vikash
one last thing

If I could have one
conversation with you again…

I wouldn't try to win.
I wouldn't try to prove that I was right.

I'd just listen.

And I'd tell you what I should have told you,
when it mattered most.

I love you.
